The clean-fuel landscape in the Midwest is changing fast – and a brand-new network of Clean Cities and Communities (CC&C) coalitions are driving that change.

Our Legacy

Since the 1990s, hundreds of businesses, cities, and school districts in Kansas and Missouri have worked with two long-standing CC&C coalitions based in St. Louis and Kansas City. These two coalitions have helped partners to upgrade their fleets, improve air quality and save money by swapping petroleum with cleaner, cheaper alternatives. But with only two coalitions covering such a wide region, there were still plenty of communities that lacked regular access to CC&C resources.

Now, we’re excited to expand the reach!

With assistance from the US Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, Kansas City Regional Clean Cities and Communities, along with the Eastern Missouri Alliance For Clean Transportation are working to bring three new DOE-designated coalitions to new regions.

Ozark Clean Fuels Coalition
