OUR MISSION: FUELING SUSTAINABLE CHANGE FOR 30 YEARS
For over 25 years Eastern Missouri Alliance for Clean Transportation (EM-ACT), formerly St. Louis Regional Clean Cities, has been steering St. Louis toward a future where alternative fuels and energy-efficient technologies are fundamental, not just alternatives. With our mission now extending across the Eastern Missouri region, EM-ACT is committed to broadening our impact and fostering a cleaner, more sustainable future for our communities. Our commitment encompasses economic vitality, environmental integrity, and energy independence, promoting domestically produced fuels and innovative mobility systems. As a Clean Cities Coalition backed by the U.S. Department of Energy, we leverage our extensive expertise to position Eastern Missouri as an energy efficiency model, transforming each mobility step into a stride toward an ecologically balanced future.
OUR VISION FOR 2035: A LOW/ZERO EMISSIONS EASTERN MISSOURI
Our vision is bold yet attainable—an Eastern Missouri region where clean, American-made fuels and advanced technologies drive an emissions-free environment. We imagine a city where transportation coexists with and enhances urban life, ensuring health and well-being for all.
