Celebrating 30 Years of Clean Transportation and a New Chapter Ahead

On Friday, October 4th, we gathered with an amazing group of board members, partners, and friends at the St. Louis Anheuser-Busch Brewery to celebrate 30 impactful years of St. Louis Regional Clean Cities. From our earliest days, we’ve been driven by the vision of a cleaner, more sustainable transportation future—and we’ve come a long way!

In those 30 years, we have assisted partners in receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in grants, offsetted a million tons of greenhouse gas emissions, replaced 188 million gallons of gas and diesel with domestic fuels, and much more.

But our journey is just beginning! As part of our celebration, we unveiled some exciting news:
We are expanding!

Our new name, Eastern Missouri Alliance for Clean Transportation (EM-ACT), reflects this exciting shift. With an expanded mission and footprint, we are eager to serve the entire Eastern Missouri region and bring innovative, sustainable transportation solutions to even more communities.

30 Years of Impact and Looking Ahead

Over the past three decades, we’ve collaborated with public and private partners to promote alternative fuels, energy-efficient technologies, and clean mobility solutions. From championing locally produced fuels to improving energy independence, we’ve been at the forefront of transformative change in St. Louis—and now, we’re ready to take it further.

With our expanded mission, we will be a resource for 55 counties and 1 city across the Eastern Missouri hemisphere as they achieve lower emissions through cleaner fuel technologies and, as a result, improved environmental, economic, and social benefits.

Thank You to Our Community

We couldn’t have reached this milestone without the support of our incredible partners, members, and community. Thank you to everyone who attended our celebratory event and to all of those who have stood with us over the last 30 years. Here’s to the next 30 years of making a meaningful impact in the transportation sector.

Additionally, we would like to thank our sponsors for making this event possible!
